About

I'm a furniture designer and maker living and working in London.

My practice balances at the intersection where traditional and contemporary craft converge, exploring and interpreting notions of rusticity and natural form through the contemporary language of digital manufacturing technology. Underpinned by a cycle of research and development, my approach to design is firmly rooted in experimentation through hands on making, material exploration and engaging directly with manufacturing process in order to find interesting and unexpected results.

Defined by a hybrid aesthetic somewhere between natural and artificial, rustic and sophisticated, the objects create their own context and unique design language which references tradition at the same time as questioning what craft can mean in the digital age.

As well as developing my studio practice, I take on bespoke commissions for private clients, interior designers and architects.
